The Department of English at Christ College, Vizhinjam, organised a colloquium titled “Understanding Queer Studies: A Foundational Engagement with Concepts and Contexts” on November 7, 2024, from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM. The event aimed to provide an introduction to queer studies, focusing on its key concepts and frameworks. Dr. Karthika V.P., Assistant Professor at the Government College, Daman, served as the keynote speaker, offering insights into the academic discourse surrounding queer studies.
