The Orientation Programme on SWAYAM and NPTEL Courses, conducted by the Department of English at Christ College, Vizhinjam on 11th July 2025, aimed to introduce students to India’s premier online learning platforms, emphasizing their structure, benefits, and academic relevance. Dr Jessy Jacob, the resource person, provided detailed guidance on registration, course selection, certification, and credit transfer under the FYUGP system. The session encouraged interdisciplinary and skill-based learning, digital literacy, and self-directed education. Student feedback was largely positive, highlighting the session’s clarity and usefulness, though a few suggested improved communication for better understanding in future events.
