A departmental open house meeting was conducted by the Department of Commerce on Thursday, August 14, 2025, to discuss plans and gather ideas for the upcoming Onam celebrations. The meeting was chaired by the Head of Department (HOD), Mr. Umesh S.R., and was held in two separate sessions to accommodate students from different specializations. The primary goal was to ensure the celebrations are vibrant, well-coordinated, and enjoyable for everyone.
Both sessions (Finance and TAX streams) successfully achieved their objectives. The coordinators from both streams collected competitor names and elected leaders, setting the groundwork for a well-organized Onam celebration. The meeting concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
The enthusiasm and participation from the students suggest that the upcoming celebrations will be a vibrant and memorable event for the Department of Commerce.
