The Internal Compliance Committee (ICC) of Christ College organized a workshop on “Gender Equality & POCSO Act, 2012” on 18 February 2026 at 12:30 pm in the College Auditorium. The session was led by Ms. Amina Naseef from Sakshi NGO, who served as the trainer. The workshop aimed to create awareness about gender equality, promote a respectful and inclusive campus environment, and educate participants about the provisions and importance of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012. The programme provided valuable insights into legal rights, responsibilities, and the need to prevent and address gender-based discrimination and abuse.
