The Women’s Cell of Christ College, Vizhinjam, in association with IQAC organized a TOOFAN Awareness Programme for our students on 11 August 2026 at the College Open Auditorium from 12 pm to 1.30 pm. The programme aimed at empowering students on the dangers of of drug abuse.
The session was handled by Mr Praveen P.V, Faculty in Police Training College And Writer, Staff Officer to the Superintendent of Police, Traffic & Road Safety Management Headquarters, who addressed the students on the importance of staying away from addiictive substances and making responsible choices. Students were interacted with the Officer.
Guest official Mr Biju.T, Sub Inspector Janamaithri – CRO Kovalam police station, explained how substances use can negativity affect a person’s health, education, relationships and futur. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks of Dr Chithra V S, Faculty Co-ordinator Women’s Cell.
