A popular biodiversity register prepared by the Government of the state, under the supervision and technical support of the Kerala State Biodiversity Board in Venganoor Grama Panchayat. This register was prepared 10 years ago. But the Grama Panchayat has started the work to revise this register periodically.
Two meetings were held as part of it. Then a one-day training program was organized at Vavvamula-Kadavinmula backwaters on Friday 06 October 2023 to collect the necessary information for preparing the second part of the Biodiversity Register of the GramaPanchayat. In that program, Dr. Sindhu B. I, Coordinator of the Nature Club, was present. It was held to publish a people’s biodiversity register regarding biological diversity, genetic diversity, habitat etc. For further progress the team decided to visit our college and meet the Nature Club members.
