The Department of Computer Applications conducted a certificate course on Introduction to Ethical Hacking for students of second semester BCA. The programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Shyni A L, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, Emmanuel College, Vazhichal on 13th May 2024 at 10.30am through online mode (Google Meet). The classes were conducted in the month of May through Google meet. Curriculum was designed by the Department of Computer Application.
The syllabus had 4 modules namely; (Detailed Syllabus in Table 1)
Module 1: Introduction to Cyber Security
Module 2: Introduction to Ethical Hacking
Module 3: Introduction to Laws
Module 4: Ethical Hacking
The duration of the programme was 30 hours and classes were handled by Ms. Lekshmi Chandran C P, faculty of Department of Computer Applications. The assessment was also conducted online on 25th of May 2023. Students with more than 50%attendance were eligible to write the test and 34students attended the exam.
