The Department of Commerce, in association with the Institute of Cooperative Management, Thiruvananthapuram, organized an Awareness Programme on the Kerala Co-operative Sector on 12 December 2025 at 12.30 pm in the Seminar Hall. The session, led by Dr. Gayathry S S, Faculty at the Institute of Co-operative Management, provided students with valuable insights into the functioning, relevance, and opportunities within the cooperative sector in Kerala. The programme aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the cooperative model and its role in socio-economic development. The event was coordinated by Dr. Jessy Jacob along with student coordinators Mr. Binil B and Ms. Jahina V.
