The First Degree Programme, BA English Language and Literature (CBCSS) is a three-year undergraduate course designed to build a strong foundation in literature, language, and critical theory. The programme includes Discipline Specific Core (DSC) courses that provide foundational and advanced knowledge in English literature and language, along with Discipline Specific Elective (DSE) courses that allow specialization in areas such as literary theory, cultural studies, or linguistics. Multidisciplinary Courses (MDC) promote academic flexibility and broader learning across disciplines, while Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) focus on practical language and communication skills. Value Added Courses (VAC) aim to instill ethical, social, and cultural values.
