ETHNIC DAY – UNITY IN DIVERSITY

Christ College Vizhinjam celebrated November 1st (Kerala Piravi) as ETHNIC DAY. The formal function was inaugurated by Mr. Vinod Vellayani the famous Malayalam Poet and Cultural Activist at 9 am. The function was presided by the college principal Dr. Joseph K.A. Ms. Divya R.G (Assistant Professor Department of Malayalam) felicitated the function. Naveen M.S. (Student Representative) extended the vote of thanks. The function was followed by various cultured programmes.

The theme of the day was “Unity In Diversity” various cultures festival and traditional art forms of different states were depicted through the cultural programmes by students. The aim of these events was not only to respect one’s own tradition but others too.
