Life Skills Development Programme

The Department of Social Work, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Christ College, Vizhinjam, successfully organized a life skills development programme titled “Empower U: Mastering Life Skills” on 10 July 2026 at the College  Auditorium.

The session was led by Mr. Jay Seelan Bright, renowned motivational speaker, counselor, quiz master, and camp coordinator. Through engaging activities and interactive discussions, the resource person emphasized the importance of essential life skills such as effective communication, self-awareness, emotional intelligence, decision-making, leadership, and resilience. The programme was conducted under the theme “Live Better, Learn Better, Lead Better,” inspiring students to develop the personal and interpersonal competencies required for academic success and holistic development.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. Participants appreciated the practical approach and motivational insights shared during the session, making it a meaningful learning experience.The programme was coordinated by the Department of Social Work under the guidance of the college management and IQAC, with the active support of faculty and student coordinators, ensuring its successful execution
