The Orientation Programme for FYUGP students of S1 BA English Major (2024 Admission) was held on 27th August 2024 at Christ College, Vizhinjam. Dr. Joseph K. A., Principal, spoke on the college’s mission, vision, and commitment to holistic education, while Ms. Soorya Nayana S. S., Head of the English Department, emphasized the programme’s goals of developing critical thinking, creativity, and career prospects in fields like media, publishing, and communication. Dr. Roshan R., Head of Management Studies, highlighted the importance of student participation in clubs and extracurricular activities for personal growth, and Ms. Lekshmi Chandran C. P., Assistant Professor, discussed the role of the Placement Cell in securing internships, job placements, and career counseling.
