Five-Day Workshop on Robotics

Christ College, Vizhinjam recently concluded an immersive and high-energy Five-Day Workshop on Robotics, aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical computer science and practical automation. Organized by the Department of Computer Applications in association with IQAC and industry partner Srishti Innovative, the event provided students with a hands-on deep dive into the “Future of Technology.”

The Five-Day Workshop on Robotics, centered on the inspiring theme “Learn. Build. Innovate… Explore the future of technology through Robotics,” was successfully conducted at the College Auditorium. Held from February 10 to February 16, 2026, the program followed a rigorous daily schedule from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. This intensive timeframe allowed participants to transition from foundational concepts to advanced technical applications, providing a dedicated space within the campus to engage deeply with the evolving landscape of robotic automation and modern engineering.

The workshop was led by Mr. Jithin James, Robotics Team Leader, and his team from Srishti Innovative. Leveraging his industry expertise, he guided students through the complexities of robotic design, programming, and real-world applications, ensuring the sessions were both academically enriching and career-oriented.
