On November 7 2024,  Canara Bank held an account opening camp at Christ College, Vizhinjam, aimed at helping students and faculty easily open new accounts. Bank representatives provided information on the benefits of banking, including zero-balance accounts and digital banking options. The camp facilitated on-the-spot account openings, making the process convenient for attendees, and offered guidance on financial literacy. The event saw a strong turnout, with many students and faculty members participating, and received positive feedback for its accessibility and support.
