Our programs emphasize a holistic learning experience through classroom teaching, fieldwork, research, community engagement, and extension activities. Students are trained to address contemporary social issues, promote sustainable development, and contribute positively to society.
The department maintains strong linkages with NGOs, hospitals, welfare institutions, and government agencies, providing students with opportunities to engage in field training, internships, and community-based projects. Through seminars, workshops, and outreach programs, we strive to create a platform for critical thinking, innovation, and social change.
The CHRISWIFT (Christ Social Work Initiative for Transformation) is the students’ association of the Department of Social Work. Students' Testimonials
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
