HOW TO SUCCEED IN THE COMPANY SECRETARY’S PROFESSION
The session was wonderfully conducted by Mr. Sooraj S Nair, Company Secretary. The objective of such an orientation programme is to sensitize the students regarding the course curriculum, study schemes, examination pattern and training structure. Through the orientation programme, students will also be made to understand the scope and opportunities of the CS profession and they will be sensitive for their career as a CS. He explained in detail about the role of a Company Secretary as he is responsible for the efficient administration of a company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are implemented. He shared his experience as a CS in corporate companies among the students and which encouraged them to choose the profession
