Diksha 2026: Inaguration of a New Academic Year

The new academic year at Christ College, Vizhinjam, commenced with the inauguration of ‘Diksha 2026’.

The inaugural ceremony was officiated by K. R. Jyothilal, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Kerala. Siddharth M. Joy, Public Speaker and Researcher at the Kerala Government Secretariat, attended the event as the chief guest.

The function was presided over by Fr. (Dr.) Benny Sebastian, CMI, College Manager. Dr. Joseph K. A., Principal of the college, delivered the welcome address, while Fr. Robin Ananthankattu, CMI, College Director, administered the pledge.

The college extended a warm welcome to the newly admitted students and felicitated students who had demonstrated outstanding academic excellence. The event was further enlivened by a variety of cultural performances and a prize distribution ceremony.
