EXPERT TALK ON “UNLOCK INNOVATION THROUGH DESIGN THINKING”

The Department of Computer Applications at Christ College, in association with the IQAC, successfully hosted an expert talk on the topic, “Unlock Innovation Through Design Thinking,” on Friday, September 19, 2025.

The insightful session was led by the distinguished speaker, Prof. Dr. Gladston Raj S., a Professor of Computer Science and Research Guide at Govt. College Kariavattom, TVM. The program, held in the college’s Seminar Hall, was attended by students and faculty members, of Computer Applications department who gained valuable knowledge on the principles and practical applications of design thinking.

Prof. Dr. Gladston Raj S. shared his expertise on how design thinking can be used as a powerful tool to foster innovation and solve complex problems. His talk covered key stages of the design thinking process, including empathizing, defining, ideating, prototyping, and testing. The speaker’s engaging delivery and real-world examples captivated the audience and provided a clear understanding of the subject.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where attendees had the opportunity to clarify their doubts and engage in a meaningful discussion with the speaker. The program proved to be highly beneficial for all participants, enhancing their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
