Department of Computer Applications at Christ College Vizhinjam and Offenso Hackers Academy Forge Partnership for Enhanced Cyber Security Education

In a significant step towards bridging the gap between academia and industry, the Department of Computer Applications at Christ College Vizhinjam and Offenso Hackers Academy officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on August 25, 2025. The signing ceremony, held at the Principal’s Chamber, marked the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at advancing cyber security education and training.

The event was a testament to the college’s commitment to providing students with practical, industry-relevant skills. The MOU, signed in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), seeks to create opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience and expertise in the rapidly evolving field of cyber security.

Key highlights of the partnership include:

1st Party: Offenso Hackers Academy, a prominent institution in the cyber security domain.

2nd Party: The Department of Computer Applications, Christ College Vizhinjam.

The collaborative initiatives will be guided by an esteemed leadership committee, which includes Adv. Rev. Fr Thomas Cheppila CMI (Manager cum Director) and Dr. Joseph K.A. (Principal).

This collaboration is expected to bring immense value to the students of Christ College Vizhinjam by offering specialized training, workshops, and potentially joint projects, preparing them to meet the challenges of the digital world.

This strategic alliance underscores Christ College’s dedication to academic excellence and its proactive approach in equipping students with the skills demanded by the modern job market.
