Ink n’ Infinity ’25: Celebrating National Poets’ Day on 21st of August at Christ College, Vizhinjam, a series of immersive literary activities was organised by the Department of English and the English Literary Association (ELA), held from 18th to 21st August 2025. The event aimed to deepen engagement with poetry as a dynamic form of emotional and intellectual expression while encouraging interdisciplinary creativity. Activities included a ‘Theme-Based Poetry Writing’ session, where students composed original poems exploring complex human emotions; ‘Poetic Illustrations’, which challenged participants to translate written verse into visual art; and ‘Poetry Reflection’, where students listened to recited poems and penned critical analyses of their psychological and philosophical undertones.
Through these thoughtfully designed sessions, Ink n’ Infinity ’25 provided a platform for students to articulate inner worlds, hone interpretive skills, and bridge literary and visual arts. The event fostered introspection, creativity, and a renewed appreciation for the power of words and imagery, leaving participants with a richer understanding of poetry’s role in capturing the human experience.
