Mental Health Awareness Session

The Department of Social Work, Christ College Vizhinjam, in association with the Kovalam Raymond Lions Club, organised an awareness session titled “Understanding Mental Health” on 8th October 2025 at Room No. 7.The session was led by Smt. Aarathi V. Dev, Clinical Psychologist, who discussed the importance of mental well-being, early identification of mental health issues, and strategies to maintain emotional balance in everyday life.

The event aimed to promote awareness and reduce stigma surrounding mental health among students. Ms. Ann G. B. served as the student coordinator, while Mr. Vivek K. M. and Ms. Aleenatomy acted as faculty coordinators.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Joseph K. A. (Principal). The interactive session received active participation and positive feedback from students.
