The Department of Computer Applications at Christ College, Vizhinjam, successfully organized a Web Design Competition on August 4, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with the objective of enhancing students’ creative and technical competencies in web development. Held in the college’s Computer Lab, the event drew enthusiastic participation from students of Semester 1, Semester 3, and Semester 5.

The program began with a warm welcome address by Mr. Joshua Salvador, who set the tone for the day by emphasizing the significance of creativity and innovation in today’s digital landscape. The highlight of the event was the web design challenge, in which students were tasked with developing a website based on a specific theme within a limited time frame. Participants utilized tools such as VS Code and various Technologies to create visually appealing and technically robust websites.

Entries were assessed on several key criteria, including creativity, functionality, user interface design, responsiveness, and code quality. The judging panel was led by the Vice Principal, Mr. Umesh S. R., who offered insightful feedback and encouragement to all participants.

The event was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Shyni A. L. (Assistant Professor), with support from student coordinator Mr. Joshua Salvador, ensuring the smooth execution and success of the competition.
