Psychology can be defined as the science of mind and human behavior which requires studying human anatomy, physiology and its related concepts.
By pursuing this course, candidate achieves certain skills in human development and behavior such as analytical ability, verbal & nonverbal communication, interpersonal skills and so on; also the student will develop clear understanding of:
- All major concepts and terms of basic psychology
- Analyze human behavior on the basis of scientific enquiry and critical thinking
- Understand the psychological processes behind adaptive and maladaptive human behavior
- Demonstrate moral and ethical responsibility with respect to social diversity
- Understand human behavior in social, clinical and organizational setting through experimental and field study
- Apply basic skills in psychological testing, experimentation, counselling communication, data analysis and report writing.
